“Doming”, is applying a thick layer of a crystal clear, non-yellowing resin over the top of a label. The resin is applied in liquid form and allowed to harden. The dome tapers naturally down to the edge of the custom label, making it look like a large drop of water covering the custom imprint (your logo). It is very glossy, protecting and magnifying the custom imprint underneath. The dome will look “wet”. This makes your company logo look like a dew drop, yet it is still flexible. The dome is generally Urethane, which is resistant to UV rays and most chemicals, so can be stuck on your car. The domed label is becoming more and more the standard, and you can see it emulated in print everywhere (even ABSA have domed labels on all their credit card machines). The custom imprint is 1-color to full-color, or spot colors on Vinyl, and can also be printed onto silver or gold metallic vinyl.
